After growing up in the Columbia River Gorge, Jess Caudill went to the University of Idaho and Louisiana State and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology with a Minor in Art. It wasn’t until he came across the book, The Complete Joy of Homebrewing by Charlie Pappazian that he decided to homebrew. He also began volunteering at a brewpub in Moscow, Idaho and after their brewer left, at the age of 22, Jess had become a brewer.
Returning to the Gorge, he quickly appeared into the craft beer industry at Full Sail Brewing Company, where he met Doug Ellenberger. He then worked at Wyeast Laboratories Inc for over twelve years, Solera Brewery (formerly Elliot Glacier Public House) and landed at Everybody’s Brewing Company with Brewmaster Doug. Drawn to making new beers with bright colors and unique flavor, making beer has been a long time creative outlet for Head Brewer Jess Caudill.
For more than a decade, brewing has been more than just a passion for Adam; it is his life! He started out as a homebrewer in 2001 before meeting Kyle Larson of Double Mountain, who introduced him to the Gorge brewing community. He got his start as a professional brewer at Walking Man Brewing before completing the American Brewers Guild IBS&E program and coming to Everybody's Brewing.
The brewing culture and community brought Adam to the stunning Columbia River Gorge. Everybody's Brewing has been a place for him to express his passion for brewing.
